SAFETY ALWAYS COMES FIRST and we are proud to hold an accident free record for almost 20 years! Throughout J K Guest, safety is the first item on all meeting agendas, from board level to individual project meetings.
J K Guest is totally committed to a policy of effectively managing all aspects of Health, Safety and Welfare through the development of a coherent framework of measures designed to promote teamwork, planning, training and discipline.
Each region has a dedicated Health and Safety manager who audits the performance of all our jobs on a weekly basis.
Managing Director Jon Guest states ”Everybody has the right to work in a safe environment and nothing is too important at work that we can't take the time to do it safely and all return home after each day”.
J K Guest are always looking for new ways to promote and improve Health and safety across the company and within the industry. In 2007 we appointed three health and safety behavioural coaches to work alongside our workforce managers and health and safety managers to give hands on advice, as well as ongoing awareness and training provision. We feel that by doing this we are generating a lot more feedback from the workforce in general.
