PERMITS TO DIG

Permits to work are a formal management system used to control high risk activities. These enable an assessment of risks to be made and to specify control measures which will be put in place in order to minimise the risk.

VACUUM EXCAVATION

Vacuum excavation allows the contractor to operate and excavate material around buried services or utilities including gas, electric, water, telecoms and fibre-optics by removing the soil, earth or other material covering the services by means of high volume air flow.
